How verification works

We match the name, email, and phone you give against the subscriber record. If they match, we act on the request. If they do not, or if the request is to delete or to receive a copy, we confirm through the email address on file before acting. We never ask for government ID.

Timing

We acknowledge within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need longer we will say so and take at most a further 45 days.

What we collect and why is set out in the California section of our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share personal information, and we collect no sensitive personal information, so opt-out and limit requests will always be confirmed as already satisfied.
