American Arbitration Association (AAA)
The largest US arbitration provider, and the default forum named in most consumer clauses.
The AAA administers the majority of US consumer and employment arbitration. It introduced Supplementary Rules for Multiple Case Filings in August 2021 and a dedicated Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules regime thereafter, with a materially revised fee schedule effective January 2024 that replaced per-case initiation fees with a flat initiation fee and eliminated case management fees. The rules apply at the AAA's discretion rather than by contractual election.
