Arbitrator Compensation
The neutral's hourly or daily rate, allocated by rule or agreement.
In consumer cases provider rules set the rate and place it substantially on the business. Across a large inventory, compensation is the dominant merits-stage cost — which is why every defensive protocol is designed to resolve or dispose of claims before arbitrators are appointed.
