Qualified Settlement Fund (QSF)
A court-established fund under IRC § 468B that holds settlement proceeds pending allocation.
A QSF lets a defendant resolve and deduct its liability on funding while allocation, lien resolution, and individual acceptance decisions proceed over months or years. It is standard architecture in aggregate settlements of any size.
