Class Notice
The communication informing class members of the action and their rights.
Rule 23(b)(3) requires the best notice practicable, including individual notice to members identifiable through reasonable effort. Notice quality drives claims rates, and low claims rates are the most common basis on which settlement valuations are challenged.
