Process Administrator
The JAMS equivalent of a Process Arbitrator, charged with preliminary and administrative determinations.
Under the JAMS Mass Arbitration Procedures a Process Administrator screens threshold and administrative matters before merits appointments, billed at an hourly rate. The function parallels the AAA's Process Arbitrator; the material difference between the two regimes lies not in the gatekeeper but in the consent requirement that governs whether the JAMS procedures apply at all.
